You Asked, I Answered
Answering your questions about life lately... the serious, the silly, and everything in between.

A few weeks ago, I shared an Ask Me Anything and invited you all to submit questions about life, IVF, work, marriage, and pretty much anything else you’re curious about.
The time has come for me to sit down and respond to some of the most common themes that came up. The last year has brought a lot of unexpected challenges and changes for our family, and I’ve always appreciated having a space where I can share openly about all parts of the journey! I hope you never doubt how much I appreciate all of you. So… let’s dive in.
Q. How do you pronounce your name?
A. I was actually surprised by how many of you asked this! I didn’t realize so many people wanted to call me Cali. It’s spelled Cailee (with only two e’s), but pronounced KAY-LEE.
Q. What’s the latest update on your cookbook?
A. Drum roll, please… it’s set to launch in the spring!!! I’m so excited. We just spent a few weeks in New York to make and shoot each recipe. It was so fun, so yummy, and I genuinely can’t wait for you guys to try them all. I will share the preorder link as soon as I can, I promise.
Q. How did you and your husband, Eddie, meet? How long have you been married?
A. In one of my first-ever Substack articles, I shared all about this! We technically met in middle school youth group, but there’s some more to our story. On September 8th, we’ll have been married for 8 years (!!!). 8 years on the 8th, does this make it our golden anniversary?
Who the heck is Cailee?!
It’s taking everything in me not to start this off like every maid of honor or best man’s speech ever… ahem, “for those of you who don’t know me, I’m Cailee.” But, maybe that’s not such a bad place to start!
Q. What were the important steps in your journey to becoming a content creator? Do you have any tips for someone just starting?
